Postal Markings for Perth 1904-1987 neatly written up with details of slogan usage, illustrated on pieces or covers/cards covers on 100+ items incl Printed to Private Order window-faced envelopes, a mourning cover of 1928, office markings on rubber stamps in violet, commentary on rates & their applications, errors of usage such as a machine cancel in which the date case is inverted in relation to the slogan while a second volume focuses on Cottesloe starting with historical photos of the PO's history from 1894 followed by cds strikes on WA Swans & KGV with later on/off piece & on cards & letters noting Registered, bulk postage "Paid" cds's in red or black, 1964 b&w photos of the new PO & opening ceremony plus impressions from petty cash vouchers, bulk purchase docket receipt, private & official AP covers/ pre-stamped postcards, pictorial cachets & "Relief" number 34 used in 1981. The final volume is titled "First Day Cover Cancellations of Fremantle". A low reserve against the time taken to research & present. (200+ items)
