KGV 1d reds "Collection of 1d Red GeoV compiled by comparison with Master Set arranged by the Late S. Orlo-Smith & C. Blogg" annotated small booklet dated 1954 with "F.A. Thornhill, Victoria" h/p. Starts with engraved shades (2) followed by smooth paper shades G10 to G33 (no salmon eosin), 52 Die I, 4 Die II, 4 inv wmk, 9 major plate flaws, 5 minor plate flaws & 8 perfins - 6 "OS" plus 5 other variations. Incls Rough Papers from G60 to G77 shades (no G65, 66, 71 or 78) (19), Die II (3) with 3 varieties & Harrison LMW (2), one perfined "OS". All very good to fine used. An interesting piece of history.
