Main value in the special earlier covers incl 1937 Newfoundland Coronation set of 3 on cover to "GPO Newfoundland" tied by violet TDC cachet type VII, similar cachet (type V) applied on receipt to South Africa-Tristan cover bearing 1d tied by JOHANNESBURG 1935 cds & foxed 1d in TDC, 1979 RMS Queen Elizabeth FDC's signed by designer, 1950 Ascension-UK cover with UPU set tied by Capetown 5th Oct 1950 cds & over stamped with TDC oval cachet type X (SG 012, cat. from £45), 1955 regd TDC air cover to GB bearing 5/- ovptd KGVI plus other TDC cachet type VII covers bearing Falkland Island Coronation set addressed "GPO Falkland Is" & St Helena Coronation ½d x2 on cover to GB.
