Typed address to "Mr C Black, Fort Norman, Canada, Care Mr F Chichester, Thursday Island, Australia" with signed certification by Chichester on reverse with cachet "I certify this letter No 44 of only 145 carried from Australia to Japan on the World's first long distance seaplane solo & first solo flight Australia-Japan was so carried to Japan and no further owing to total wreck there of my plane".
