First Day Covers 1947-1955 plain hand addressed selection with issues tied by crisp "G.P.O. Perth R.S." or "G.P.O. Perth" cds's. Noted Food Produce strips of 3 & 1954 3½d WA Stamp Cent blk of 4 tied by red Exhib pmk but apart from a couple of 2/6s & 2/- vals, majority are low vals. Some blocks of 4 also feature. Highlight is the 1947 BCOF set of 7 tied by Aust Army P.O. 241 cds's on hand addressed env to "Transport Section HQ B.C.O.F. Kure Japan". Odd tone spot but useful pickings. (44)
