These incl an early 1918 (21st Feb) env locally addressed to Mademoiselle B. Rougier de Radegonde with 5c single tied by "Christmas Island Local Postage" cds & 1923 (10th Dec) Central Pacific Cocoanut Plantations Ltd Christmas Island cachet cancelled 5c pair b&w postcard addressed to Zurich, Switzerland with neighbouring French Oceanic Settlements 1f pictorial tied by Papeete cds. "New York USA Foreign 1.26.1924" & "Zurich Brieftrager 11.II.24" b/s's plus 1936 (28th Feb) "10 CENTS" surcharged in blue of the same design as the 5c pmkd with “CHRISTMAS ISLAND CENTRAL PACIFIC OCEAN" cds in violet & used in combination with 30c FOS green tied by Tahiti cds plus an indistinct square cancel above Surry England address. All presented on written up pages but in German with newspaper clippings. A lovely lot.
