Austria 1851-2011 Used range in 2 large quality black page Lighthouse stockbooks. Noted 1851 blue "Mercury" type II newspaper stamp (3 large margins), 1858 2k yellow, dull purple newspaper stamp MLH (creased, but Cat. £1300, Sgn25) & 1867 types to 50k (latter blunt top right corner) with average later defins. Incls 1935 Winter Relief ovpts but others sparse to 1945. Comprehensive later from 1946 Renner incl 1948 Creative Artists, 1949 POW Relief & 1950 Carinthian Plebiscite with later issues very well covered. (No 1950 Airs) Incls all M/S's from 1976. Despite weak 1920's-1930's section there is a very high overall cat. value with majority fine. Viewing recommended. (2000+)
