Great Britain 1929 (9th May) London to Consulat of Switzerland in Melbourne "Till Marseilles and again in Australia" endorsed cover alongside & tying "Par Avion" vignette. 1½d & 3d x 2 KGV tied by London cds's for the 7½d incl 1½d Empire letter rate plus airmail surcharge of 3d per ½oz (to France) plus Australian internal airmail surcharge 3d per ½oz. Despatched in time for the Perth to Adelaide airmail (AAMC 137) in which it is a rare external entrant though no transit markings. Good cond. Ex Perry
