1911 Stamp Design Competition. Similar to the lot above also submitted by "Wattle Blossoms" with "Design No. 2" at base of block mounted frame. Same format with the reduced size design in a photographic format & in red. This design also incorporates the wording as required but shows the face value figure in bold centrally placed over map of Australia & surrounded by the Southern Cross. A little similar to Donald Mackay's design shown as E48 in the ACSC. Again this design & nom-de-plume does not appear in the ACSC. (see back cover).
