KGV 1d specialist collection written up on leaves with shades & papers beginning with 1d red engraved shades with 2 MLH & 6 used. Incls G2/3 single line perf examples & smooth paper shades G10-G33 (approx. 230). All shade groupings appear represented but there is no salmon rosin. Rough paper shades incl G60-64, G71-75 & G77 (approx. 80). Finally there are Die III x 4 & 12 Harrison LM wmks. Many fine examples plus a few scarce shades & Die II's with several dated. 1d violet x 6 used plus corner selvedge block of 4. Finally 1d greens in various wmks & perfs with approx. 50 incl a used DieII & a couple of used dry ink varieties. A worthwhile lot for further study. (approx. 400)
