Egypt 1933-39 "Farouk perforations" group of singles, pairs & separated pairs. During the reign of King Farouk it was customary for the printers to make one or two sheets of each stamp with oblique perforations for the Kings personal collection. These were discovered in his collection after the 1952 coup & auctioned in 1953 & 1954. Nowadays, when they appear in auctions, they typically sell for $80 to $100 per unit. (38)
