1937 (27th Nov) Cover sent airmail to Glasgow with Malaya Straits Settlements 25c KGV tied by Singapore cds. Carried by Imperial Airways Flying Boat service & salvaged from the crash of the Short S.23 "C" Class Flying Boat "Cygnus" at Brindisi, Italy on 5 Dec 1937 with violet boxed "DAMAGED BY SEA-WATER" cachet (Sanford type 371205a). Some heavy wear & water damage as to be expected but stamp fine.
