1940 (30th Aug) Bombay to Brisbane Registered cover. India 1a & 1r KGVI tied by Churchgate Street, Bombay cds's with matching Reg label. "Passed by Censor 2" boxed cachet in mauve above "Not Opened by Censor 15" boxed cachet in black. Also a ½a "Buy this and Help the R.A.F. Bombay War Gifts Fund" black & blue-grey vignette tied by one of the censor marks. Blue Air Mail etiquette tied by the other censor mark. Reverse has "The Chartered Bank of India Australia & China Bombay" red s/a seal tied by Registered Brisbane cds's. Good cond.
