1952 (1st Sept) First Regular Airmail between Sydney Australia and Johannesburg South Africa with intermediate stops of Cocos (Keeling) Island and Mauritius. Group of 11 flight covers between each of these ports. All on Qantas illustrated covers addressed to J. Clunies-Ross of Cocos Island fame. 3 postmarked RAAF PO COCOS ISLAND, 2 Sydney, 3 Port Louis & 3 Johannesburg. Violet cachets on each & relevant backstamps.
